You will be picked up from Entebbe International Airport and transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park, approximately a 5 to 6 hour drive through Uganda's lush countryside. On arrival, check into your lodge and settle in for lunch. In the afternoon, head out on a sunset game drive across the savannah. Expect sightings of elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, hippos and if you are lucky, leopards and lions. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

An early breakfast starts your main day in the park. You head out on foot with expert guides to track lions, learning about their behaviour, territory and conservation in their natural habitat. The tracking session typically lasts two to four hours. Return to the lodge for lunch, then in the afternoon board a boat for a cruise along the Kazinga Channel. Hippos, Nile crocodiles, waterbucks and hundreds of bird species line the banks. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Early risers can join an optional morning game drive before breakfast for one final look at the park. After breakfast, check out and transfer back to Entebbe International Airport.
