Day 01 :

Arrival in Kigali

Arrive at Kigali International Airport. Meet a Jewel Safaris representative for transfer and safari briefing. Overnight at Heaven Retreat (Bed & Breakfast).

Day 02 :

Kigali – Nyanza Palace – Nyungwe Forest National Park

After breakfast, drive to Nyungwe Forest National Park. Stop at Nyanza Palace and the Ethnographic Museum, learning Rwanda’s history. Lunch enroute, then continue to Nyungwe Forest Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 03 :

Chimpanzee Tracking and Canopy Walk

Begin early with chimpanzee tracking in Nyungwe, guided by expert rangers. Spot other primates like Black & White Colobus and forest birds. Afternoon canopy walk for aerial forest views. Overnight at Nyungwe Forest Lodge.

Day 04 :

After breakfast, transfer to Volcanoes National Park near the Virunga Mountains. Arrive at Mountain Gorilla Lodge, enjoy lunch, and relax before gorilla trekking.

Day 05 :

Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

Early morning transfer to park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. Trek through lush rainforest to meet the endangered mountain gorillas. Spend one hour with them, an unforgettable wildlife encounter. Overnight at Five Volcanoes Lodge.

Day 06 :

Volcanoes – Kigali

After breakfast, return to Kigali. Visit the Genocide Memorial Centre, then transfer to the airport or hotel.
